True Blue Flu, Inc., is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those Law Enforcement Professionals “step out from behind the badge” to obtain support and treatment for alcohol and or drug abuse.
True Blue Flu, Inc. is not affiliated with any Law Enforcement Department, Public Safety Organization or Labor Union. The TBF staff would like to inform the site's viewers that this site is simply a forum for Public Safety Officials and friends or family who seek more information as to substance abuse in public safety, and the proper avenues for obtaining help.
 
It is not staffed by licensed professionals, nor does it intend to take the place of any Critical Incident Stress Organizations or treatment facilities. Anyone who is seeking treatment should seek care of licensed professionals with or without the assistance of Employee Assistance Programs. 
 
The mission of this site is to tell the story of one Police Officer, his struggle with substance abuse and its toll on his career, his family, and his life as a whole.
